Utah — Master Esthetician

The school pathway requires completion of a curriculum at a licensed or recognized school. The curriculum must cover eyelash and eyebrow technology, cosmetic medical procedures, body contouring and lymphatic massage, and advanced skincare. The program must include at least 1,200 hours of instruction or the equivalent number of credit hours.

An approved apprenticeship is an alternative pathway to Master Esthetician licensure. The apprenticeship must be registered with the Utah Division of Professional Licensing before training begins and completed within two years of registration approval. Training must be conducted under direct supervision of a properly licensed instructor.
